The AMANDA webinar series continues! After the successfully held 1st AMANDA webinar and the very positive reactions received, we are pleased to invite you to the 2nd webinar, which will take place on Tuesday, 7 December at 15:00 (CET time).

The H2020 funded AMANDA project’s primary goal is to introduce, design and develop a maintenance-free, miniaturised and easily deployable Autonomous Smart Sensing Card – ASSC for environmental sensing, as well as for asset and people tracking/monitoring in smart living and working environments. The unique ASSC will have a credit card’s size, feel, and look, with a maximum thickness of 3mm. A self-powered thin card can monitor air quality, temperature, humidity, image, magnetic field, acceleration and long-range tracing.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

This free webinar will last 30 minutes and is divided into four short and attractive presentations. Dr Charis Kouzinopoulos (CERTH) will present the AMANDA concept, main hardware and software components, and wireless communication capabilities of the ASSC. In the presentation that will follow, Dr Denis Pasero (ILIKA) will explain the three use cases identified in the AMANDA project and six scenarios that make optimal use of all the functionalities from the AMANDA card in its three versions – indoor, outdoor and wearable. In the third presentation, Dr Martin Schellenberg (MICRODUL AG) will focus on the successful development of low-power temperature sensor and thermal comfort monitoring scenario. Dr Julien Campos (LIGHTRICITY) will present the last topic – Photovoltaic for miniature IoT devices.Join us and explore the world of possibilities of the AMANDA Autonomous Smart Sensing Card!
