Project description
Project acronym: ADRURAL
Project summary: ADRURAL will give a multi-networking innovative transregional system. A tool kit with Innovative solutions tested in five Mini Rural Leaving Labs pilots & a network database platform which be fed by new data & establish innovative solutions, business models & policy recommendations alongside the support of funding instruments & policy making in order rural communities become more resilient & sustainable to overcome their socio-economic & climate challenges with an innovative approach.
Outputs – 1) a networking and coordination structure for various stakeholders to come together collaborate, share knowledge, resources and best practices to drive rural innovation and development in the Adriatic-Ionian area, 2) set up pilot action plans based on the pilot action methodology to increase the likelihood of achieving the desired outcomes and impact, 3) a technology solution to serve as a reference point for digitised rural areas, 4) a jointly developed strategy to establish a targeted way to promote and inspire rural communities, 5) a plan for effectively engaging stakeholders in the design and implementation of similar initiatives in a way that fosters meaningful collaboration
Results – 1) enhanced resiliance, sustainability and connectivity of rural areas in the Adrion – Ionian region, reduced the innovation gaps, improved technology transfer and enhanced the uptake of new technologies, 2) boosted capacities and potentials of project partners through a cooperation concept based on a formal agreement, increased knowledge and capacity of the stakeholders in the targeted area.
